Praga Studios, Karlín, Prague

The Praga Studios project presented us with a unique challenge. We were tasked with designing and installing the main feature of the building’s atrium—massive walkways that appear to float in space. Our contribution also included the steel roof structure with a beam to which the steel cables, supporting the walkways, are attached. The finishing touch was the stylish railings with perforated metal panels.

About the Project

Praga Studios is an office project that transforms the former Praga auto repair site into a vibrant business hub. This modern office building, equipped with advanced technologies and amenities, will also serve as a cultural venue.

With nearly 12,000 m² of leasable space and seven floors, the project offers not only state-of-the-art office spaces but also an atrium designed for cultural events. The intelligent design accommodates concerts, theatrical performances, and art exhibitions. The layout creates a space that can function as a stage, while the atypical staircase serves as seating. This arrangement allows audiences and listeners to enjoy performances uninterrupted from all vantage points.
